New Professors and Associate Professors
Eight senior Auckland University of Technology (AG飞禽走兽电子) academics who are internationally recognised leaders in their respective fields of specialisation have been promoted to the position of Professor, effective from 1 January 2022. A further 22 academics have been appointed as Associate Professors.
Vice-Chancellor, Derek McCormack, says these appointments highlight the breadth of academic expertise at AG飞禽走兽电子, with an internationally recognised fashion and textile designer, a leader in the development of sustainable food systems, and an expert on monetary policy and welfare systems among the new Professors.
“These leading academics have made a difference in producing research that matters across a broad range of areas and are vital to ensuring our students leave AG飞禽走兽电子 as great graduates.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Professor Wendy Lawson, says these new appointments will further enrich our University through their outstanding contributions to teaching, research, and student supervision, and their incredibly diverse array of perspectives and professional experiences.
